Ox Creek

Ox Creek is a tributary of the Oswego River, located primarily in the Town of Granby, a little south of Fulton. I drive over the creek every day on my way to and from work. There’s nothing I know of that’s particularly noteworthy about Ox Creek; I just find it pretty. There are summer days when I drive over the bridge and am tempted to pull over and explore around the wetland’s lush greenery. Today, while passing through Granby on County Route 14, I did just that.

  2. Spent a good deal of time there growing up. Fishing for bullheads at night with my dad. Riding my bike down ther to catch bluegills. Bowfishing for carp in my teens. Then farther down the creek is where we used to duck hunt. Lots of great memories attached to that place

    1. I see people fishing there all the time. It looks like a perfect fishing hole.
